Dr. A. Gupta

Lead Doctor

Dr. Gupta founded SUDS Clinic in 2020. With over 35 years (and counting) of emergency room experience, she felt that opening the SUDS Clinics would be an advantageous transition of applying her medical expertise for patients, accessible to all.

Dr. Gupta has a genuine passion for helping individuals dealing with substance use disorders. Her favourite part of SUDS Clinic is hearing positive progress from her patients. Patient well-being and success is something she implements into her every day practice.

Clinical Assistant

SUDS clinical assistant, Dr. Ilelaboye, takes a kind and tranquil approach with every patient. After graduating from OAU Ife, Nigeria, Dr. Ilelaboye gained experience working as a M.D. as well as performing clinical research with McMaster University.

Dr. Ilelaboye holds patient safety close to his heart, and is able to apply his clinical experience into his approach. This allows patients to be more educated on potential harms and concurrent health issues.

Tara

Addiction Counselor

Our addiction counselor Tara actively guides patients through their journey. With experience in the medical field and the NYPD, Tara is able to recognize lifestyle habits and potential triggers in patients.

Mental health support plays an essential role in patients' recovery. Tara’s key skills consist of active listening to aid patients in achieving their goals, small and large. Patients leave counselling sessions with a heightened sense of their values and self-assurance.

Administrative Team

Upon arrival and departure, you can expect to chat with one of our administrative team members. Whether in-person or virtually, our team allows patients to navigate through our clinic procedures with calmness.

The SUDS Clinic team can appreciate the varying situations all patients are in while providing support. Brooke and Meredith assist patients with all inquiries and communications concerning our clinic, while maintaining all things administrative.

Meredith

Meredith integrates her knowledge in psychology into many aspects of the clinic. You can find Meredith supporting patients by creating a positive environment. She is also our media coordinator, so be sure to follow along with our clinic updates!

Brooke

Brooke brings organization and design to our clinic, while maintaining an open-minded approach to procedures. Brooke has knowledge in addiction and mental health. She always keeps our patients best interest in mind.
